2016 Mardi Gras Ball, must have been past 9:00 p.m., eyes are getting droopy or maybe it is because I danced
 my feet off and they were killing me.

Spring is not far away.  Gardenias are blooming.

Mardi Gras Tree.  Made of netting with lighting.  The basic tree is something my mother taught me how to make in the 1960s.

Net Christmas tree I made this year.  It is also lighted.  I learned how to make these trees 50 years ago.  My mother use to make them and taught me.  I haven't made one for years.  I think I will make one for Marde Gras in purple.  The porcelain Santa, sleigh and reign deer came from Costco in the 80s.

I finally found the perfect white Christmas tree.  The Glass Santa Claus is a new addition this year.  My living room is a little on the small side and I wasn't sure the tree was going to fit.  But as the old saying goes, "Where there is a will, there is a way.  Many of these ornaments were gathered over a 30 year period of time.  Some given to me from dear friends of years past.  Merry Christmas everyone!
